Symantec - Client Not in Symantec System Center

Environment
  • Symantec AntiVirus 10.X.X
Introduction
User says the definition is out, find that is not in the group via Symantec System Center. It is caused by GRC.dat, which is not group one

Solutions
Copy GRC.dat from its parent server
\\SAVServer\vphome\
to the user's computer
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Editiion\7.5\
Additional, root certification should be same as the one on the SAVServer
\\SAVServer\vphome\pki\roots\
Copy this one to client, and delete the outdated one
C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\pki\roots\
After this, go to Symantec System Center -> Tools -> Discovery Service -> Click "Clear Cache Now", then, the client could be shown now
