Solutions
- Disconnect and uninstall its drivers, and application
- Delete "%ProgramFiles%\HP" or "%ProgramFiles%\Hewlett-Packard", which one is related to the scanner
- Regedit edit "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software", delete "HP" or "Hewlett-Packard", which one is related to the scanner
- Reboot and try to install its driver again
