HP Scanjet 5590 Can't Scan Problem

Environment
  • HP Scanjet 5590
  • Microsoft Windows XP
Problems
Scanning is always fail

Solutions
  • Disconnect and uninstall its drivers, and application
  • Delete "%ProgramFiles%\HP" or "%ProgramFiles%\Hewlett-Packard", which one is related to the scanner
  • Regedit edit "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software", delete "HP" or "Hewlett-Packard", which one is related to the scanner
  • Reboot and try to install its driver again
