A sudden call
"你知不知道甚麼事情？我們不可查電子郵件和登錄系統需要很長的時間！" 我接到一個突然來電。"甚麼？好！我現在回來！" 在那時我正在嘉道理農場暨植物園做義工。
我就知會了那個植物園的人員，然後立即回公司。
為何？我立即檢查問題，不是 Active Directory 服務或是電子郵件服務，但，因為 ping result，應是內部網絡問題。嗯... 那個網絡交換機？我們重開它... 對，原來是它。
"Do you know what is happening? We can't check emails and login needed a long time!" I received a sudden call. "What? Ok! I am coming back now!" In that time I was as a volunteer in the Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden.
I notified the Garden, then going back to office as soon as possible.
Why? I had immediately been checking that was a problem neither from an Active Directory service nor from an email service, but, as ping result, would be a LAN problem. Um... the switch? We restarted, and, yes, it was.
