Suddenly update failed, my Firefox Portable had:

Software Update Failed
The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox to try again.

Deleted parent.lock not solve it:

Data\profile\parent.lock

Finally, backed up the profile, and restored it to the new Firefox Portable.
