VMware 6.7: Windows Server 2019
When went to try Windows Server 2019 on a VMware 6.7 server, even it has been the latest version, could not find Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (64bit) version.
Finally, got that because of:
On products that support virtual hardware version 17, you can choose Microsoft Windows Server 2019 as the guest operating system only on VM where you select or upgrade the virtual hardware version to 17 or later.
In all other cases where Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (64bit) is unavailable, select Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (64bit) or Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later (64bit) as the guest operating system for the virtual machine.
