How to Recycle UPS
To recycle one scrapped APC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
At the beginning, visited https://weee.gov.hk/.
Then, contacted them, 2676 888.
Asked about our UPS recycling.
However, they couldn't and suggested us to contact another hotline.
Environmental Protection Department (EPD) Customer Service Hotline - 2838 3111.
EPD said it was a particular case because it was a UPS battery, not included in the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Project (WEEE).
It required the Application for Registration as a Chemical Waste Producer:
It was different from the APC reference. That would be recyclable.
Finally, one vendor could help us to recycle it even they said the same as EPD. It needed the EPD129 form.

Umm... recycle policy in Hong Kong, quite "well" from other countries / regions.
