Android: How to Factory Reset Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) (X01BDA)

When to hand over the mobile device -  Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) (X01BDA) - to another colleague

Need to factory reset

How to [1]:

1. When device is off, press (also hold) volume down key and then press (also hold) power key.

After the device vibrates, release power key (keep holding volume down key) to enter recovery mode.

 

2. Select "wipe data/factory reset" by volume down key (or volume up key), and then press power key.

More, because of the Factory Reset Protection (FRP)[2], the original Google Account required

Once FRP is activated, it will block the use of the device after factory reset process until logging on a remembered Google Account and Password
