MacOS: SSH: warning: Setting locale failed

M1 MacBook Pro, my new workstation

SSH to servers, got a warning about the locales

Tried to reconfigure the locales

Not work
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

Finally, identified that related to the /etc/ssh/ssh_config on my MacBook


Solved it by
#Host *
#    SendEnv LANG LC_*

 
 
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
Generating locales (this might take a while)...
  en_US.UTF-8... done
  es_DO.UTF-8... done
Generation complete.
